Ok guys, I'm new at this....

Alright, I bought my cl-s about a year ago, and really haven't thought about doing much to it, other than some chrome 18"s. After reading some of your postings, you've got me hooked. I need some recommendations on what to do first and what brands are best. What systems are best for exhaust, intake, road lamps....etc???? Help me out!!!

Well youre choices on what you can do for this car are pretty limited...

Mainly everything comes from Comptech.

Exhaust: Comptech (unless you find a decent looking cat-back)

Intake: Xephyr (cheapest... arguably best performance) or AEM if you want it for show. But if your like most... save a few bucks... and support a member of the board while your at it.

Road lamps: If youre talking bulb replacements... PIAA or Polarg. Depending on what your goal is really. Color or Brightness?

Honestly,

First I would say ask yourself the question: do you want speed or interior first.

If you want speed start with an intake from Xephyr Performance, then sways and springs, exhaust if you want your ride to sound nice and headers if your serious about SPEED!

If not, just do a few searches on this site for threads on good rims or look in our gallery for pics.

1) AEM CAI - cheap, easy to self-install
2) Comptech springs/sways - not cheap, but will drastically improve handling

99) Comptech headers - they help but they're just too damn expensive.
