I would think you can do better than a 2000 S4 for 28k. I think I've seen 01 and 02 S4s for low thirties/high twenties locally. Also, didn't the 00 S4s have problems with hoses that caused some of the turbos to blow? I'd look into that.

I say it depends on the intentions. Will this car be left mainly stock when it comes to performance or will more power be desired. If left stock, I would go with the 330.

But there is more reasonable performance potential with the S4.
