Hello all! I was curious as to people's preference concerning oil. I still have another 2500 miles or so before my first oil change, but my friend is gonna get his oil changed next friday. What oil do you guys use. Me and my friend were leaning towards Amsoil 5w-30. Now I've seen some people recommend Red Line or so or something Purple. Me and my friend were going to use Mobil 1 but after we heard that Mobil 1 was no longer 100% syn. Well thank you for any help!

 

just started to use redline 5-30. and i added some water wetter to the coolant. i really don't notice a difference. oh, btw it's royal purple.

edit: i noticed you live in the bay. i can get redline pretty cheap so let me know if you want some.
