Ok, I had my car about 6 weeks. I put almost 4K miles on it. 3K of it was a road trip from south FL, to NYC, & back. The 2 dealers near me both said the oil change at 7K or so miles is correct, & that the 3K oil change isn't needed on the acura. I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to get new trunk springs installed for free. The car is leased, & I'm not keeping it after the lease ends. I also don't want to spend money on service of a leased car, if it's not needed. Should I have them change the oil anyway? or let it wait till 7K & have Acura worry about it. I have 2 cars, so I will not get to that 7K mark for at least 6 months. Opinions??

 

7500 miles is okay u r doing long trips.

 

If you are not going to keep the car on the lease, wait for 7,500 miles for the first change as recommended in the manual....
