Oil change

Anyone know the best place to take a 02 cl type S to get a oil change?
some people say the dealer but some say it's not worth it....Jiffy lube or Firestone.
Any suggestions?

DIY!!! Use Mobil-1 or Amsoil

If not, take it to an actual garage (full service mechanic)..not jiffy lube. They're a bunch of fucking hacks (esp since you bought a luxury car...treat it as such)

Besides Amsoil (which is a bitch to get, BTW), Mobil 1, usually either 0w-20 or 5w-20. Don't use anything less.

0w20 might be a bit too thin. I would stick with 10W30 in the summer, and 5W30 in the winter; Mobil1 Synthetic, of course.

It should say what oil to use in the manual & on the oil cap. Should be 5w20.

Mobil 1 has something on the 0w-20 bottles that says it is formulated for honda and ford engines, so I use 0w-20, I don't think I have seen 5w-20 in M1.

definately take it to a regular mechanic or get someone to do it for you if you can't do it on your own.

take it to a full service shop. example....goodyear such. firestone sucks as they use Kendall oil.

goodyear mostly uses Valvoline oils. which fall very close behind Mobil 1. however even that i work at a goodyear that offers Valvoline i still use Mobil 1 every 2500 miles.
