oh God not ME!!
oh God not ME!!
so i'm driving home last night and everything seems to be going wrong with the car. seems like after hard braking or long braking (like at a light) if i accelerate i get this deep thunk that i can hear and also feel throught the floor. i also get the same symptom if i turn sharp/hard enough. so i get home and put it into park and there was the most awful clank into park. i put it in drive again w/o letting my foot off the brake, put it in park and nothing. i put in drive again and moved a little then pressed the brakes and put it in park and the clank wa there. anyone have any ideas? is tis thing gonna explode on me? i have about 28K miles if that helps
r u serious?!?!
a tranny FLUSH?! i haven't even broken 30K miles on this thing. with all the highway driving i do, this thing shouldn't even need a fluid change let alone a flush until at least 70 - 80K.

Owners manual, recommended flush every 30k.
Dealers recommend every 15k.
Read the owners manual.

first of all spanky...
the owner's manual calls for a fluid change and not a flush
there's a huge difference between the two, namely like $150. forget the owner's manual, you may want to peruse the nearest dictionary.
maybe i should type slower or something. i mentioned that i do lots of highway miles (i.e. the "normal" service schedule that calls for a "change" every 90K)

Our trannys aren't, how you say....good. You need to do this at 30k no matter what you think or what the manual says. Get it serviced.......

so i drove it for one more day
and the noise just became incrwasingly worse. suddently at one traffic light it just kinda morphed into the worst rotor noise i'd ever heard. it appears the clunking i had been experiencing was the actual releasing of the caliper. almost sounds as if it wasn't sliding along the pins as it should be. in any case, the car's at sussman. a bit nervous though. this is the ack's first service not at PAA since moving to the cherry hill area. they didn't seem too thrilled that i knew about these things called t-s-b's.
just got a call from sussman and...
they said that the aforementioned "clunking" sound i was experiencing during accelerations from a standstill or after hard braking was due to the aftermarket (c/t) sways. anyone else have this experience?
