OEM black chrome badges???
Ive seen 2 CL-S in milwaukee that have black chromed badges. that included every peice that would normally come with the GOLD badge kit that Shawn S has on his car. ive seen it on a sundance gold CL-S and on an agean blue CL-S and a TL-S and let me tell you it looks DAMN GOOD!!! way better than the gaudy bling bling gold (no offence shawn

anyhow, i went to my dealer for something unrelated and i asked them about the black chromed badges ive seen and they told me its an option thru Acura!! they said its the same price as the gold kit but its the black chrome that ive been seeing
have any of you guys heard this before?? let me tell ya it looks really good

yes, it is an ACURA option for the prior model TL.
either they bought the TL black chrome set ("A" is smaller and has "ACURA") or they took all the CL emblems and had them chromed that way by a shop.

well, i dunno about the peeling you are talking about, but all 3 cars ive seen it on have no problems with it, all are 2001 models, so im assuming those badges have been on for well over a year or 2.....AND they came directly from the dealership, so even if that wasnt an option through Acura, it was an option through the dealership and he said that they charge the same price as the OEM gold badge kit.

Gee-is it any surprise that they are not available for the CL?
We'll all probably wake up one morning and go to our dealers to find that Acura has renounced all knowledge as to the existence of the CL.
