OBX wires

I just recently thought about purchasing some OBX wires for my car. I've heard good things about them. Please give me your opinions. Maybe another brand would be a better choice. THose who have after market wires are most encouraged to pass on their opinions. I am sticking them onto a set of NGK iridium plugs.

Yea, but they are under that engine cover. Take it off and you'll see them. One word of advice, the wires aren't really going to give you any performance gain at all, and the aftermarket ones i've used at my shop haven't lasted nearly as long and haven't been as durable as the OEM wires. In fact, in our 9 second drag CRX and most of the other race cars, we just use the stock wires!

The only wire i've seen give ANY performance benefit (that being without an aftermarket ignition) are the Nology wires. They are simply amazing, but pricey at 150-180 bucks a set. The other problem is that you can't put the stock engine cover back on without altering it because the wires are so much thicker and require the ground straps.

At any rate, unless you really want the look, the wires aren't worth the hassle to replace (unless of course, you get the Nology).
