I had obx installed on mine and i do noticed a huge difference in throttle response. However, it is loud. It gets annoying after a while. Does anybody have the same issue? I feel like the noise is coming from the cat. converter, in that area. The mechanic that installed mine he was telling obx and comptech are made from the same factory using the same welding machine.

 

That would be the resonance that people complain about on most OBXs. I definitely do not believe they are made from the same factory. CTs have no resonance problems and the welds are much stronger on CTs.

What you are hearing is like phi stated: resonance.
CT def does not have this. I have them in and nothing like you are hearing (what I mean is that they are not loud)...

Comparing Comptech to OBX is like Lamborghini to Geo
