It has been forty years since last running at the track. Back then I ran a 1969 Camaro Z-28, close ratio 4 speed, 4:56 gears, 8 inch slicks. Today it's a 2001 Acura, bought new in 2000, one of the first cars produced, stock engine, has brake, wheel and suspension upgrades. Started out in the high fifteens, but after a couple runs, turning off the traction control and adjusting tire pressure, got it down to 15.2 -92 mph. Car and Driver published these same results when the car first came out. So here it is 150K miles later and the car still runs like brand new, a testimonial to the build quality of the Acura.
