I'm looking to tint all 5 windows anywhere from 20-35% (haven't decided yet).

Does anyone know of any good tinting shops in the NYC/Long Island area that will be able to tint over the dots on the upper portion of the back window with no problems?

the best tinting in NY is a place called Putnam Window Tint, its just a few miles north of Westchester County off of route 6 (past the jefferson valley mall by a few miles) they do the best tint ive ever seen, hands down. these guys do alot of nice cars, they also do windows on skyscrapers down in NYC and surrounding areas. i took my blazer there (when i had it) to get done, all my freinds in NY went there, my GF took her old Grand Prix there...the prices are very reasonable, and the service is the best....the shop is realitively small, but they ALWAYS get the nice cars in there, the people around there who want their tint to look good go up there....they take their time, they usually require you leave the car there for a day (drop it off in the morning and pick it up at night)

the work is lifetime gauranteed, ive seen many cars with tint done by them and i never once say a bubble or a scratch or any kind of defect.

 

The place to go is in queens. It is called Best Sound, on northern blvd. u can find them on yahoo yellow pages with the zip code of 11355. They are near me. They have lots of trophies for sound systems. Most of my friends when there and turns out very good. Cost is roughly about $200 for any sungard tint. Good luck!

 

you dont want them to tint over the dots have them put a vinyl strip over the dots like this or it will come out shitty

my tint place charged me $15 bucks extra to do it

 

Got mine does at Car Tunes. He's the best guy, if you ask me. I've been going to him for the last 5 years. He's done all my cars. $175 and a lifetime warrenty.

 

Got mine done at Eagle Tinting in Dobbs Ferry. He did a great job... wasn't too expensive, and did the Vinyl Strip over the matrix (no extra charge). Tint came out awesome.. and if you have any problems... just call him and he'll fix it!!

BTW, I got 20% on the rear and 35% on the sides.....

ahhhh.. yes richie does great work.. but that vinyl strip kills me!!!
my old job, although alil over priced usually does a 200% great job... he's about 3x the price of this Eagle guy but does lil things different that make me happy!
