NY & NJ peeps w/ Competch springs?

I want to throw a set of springs on my ride. However, I am worried about the disastorus roads we travel on. How so these springs hold up in the metro area w/ all the pot holes, costruction, etc.
WHAT'S THE DEAL?

I've had the springs in with my stock shocks for about 6 months now. The ride is smooth & the look is a lot better.

I just got the comptech springs, and I think the ride quality is pretty good. I live in Chicago so I know what you guys are going through. With the Comptech springs I dont think I have to worry.

Since you will sit a bit lower, you will need to be more careful because of how bad many the manhattan streets are. Other than that, I dont think it will make much of a difference since comptech drop is not extreme.

I have the same concerns living in NYC.... But if I do the drop I'll keep the stock size tire (sidewall) for protection. Toyo makes a 215/50/17.....
