NOS compared to Turbos...
Does NOS do anymore damage to the engine and tranny than a Turbo does if used right?

Either one could mess-up the engine with enough Nitrous (or in the case of the turbo or supercharger, with enough boost).
If either one of these mods adds sufficient torque (not hp), it will bust the transmission's gears. Maybe syncivic will disclose the torque levels that they were running to blow-up our transmissions.

Yeah, it just matters on how you use it. CLpower has had his NOS on for a while now, but he seems to be doing fine. The CL tranny can take some boost without any upgrades, but you wouldn't be able to use it a lot in my opinion without hurting the tranny if left stock.

Both basically force more O2 into the combustion chamber, so I guess no. There are as many poeple that blew up their engine with turbo as nitrous. The key is not let your engine run lean.

CLPower has CL-P though, not CL-S, right?
I wonder if our higher compression would not be a good mix with NOS? Hmmm...

High compression is worst for turbo and supercharger than nitrous. Nitrous has 2 part nitrous and 1 part oxygen. Nitrous is naturally cool so it will prevent detonation.

if you boost too much, just like anything else.. w/o a torque convertor/other mod to the tranny, you will must likely fry the tranny..remember, the tranny you guys are using is auto, not manual where you can control the car more.

Wet system means the nozzle sprays fuel and nitrous at the same time. Dry system nozzle only sprays nitrous. There are few different types of wet system. Single nozzle, direct port or plate system. The placement of these nozzle/nozzles is what's different between these wet systems.

You could always add an aftermarket tranny cooler. The one that's made for towing RV..etc. I got one on my max. It drops the ATF temp by 20F. Heat kills ATF and expired ATF ruins the auto tranny. I know TRD offers tranny cooler as an option for their supercharge kits. I flush my tranny every 20K miles with Redline D4 ATF and I have a tranny temp gauge to make sure I don't overheat the tranny fluid. Everytime you overheat the ATF, it cuts the useful life by 1/2.
