OK, I'm going to be getting my ride tinted soon, anyone have any recommendations in the Northern VA area?

The only thing I have been able to find is that L.A. Tint place that has a couple locations around... they use Formula One tint.. and it sounds good, but I haven't been able to find much on it.

Anyone gotten this type of tint or know of some different places to check out?

You should go up to Kensington, MD to National Glass & Tinting. Great prices and quality SunGard tint. Lifetime guarantee on their work too. Several members have gone there now, as have some of my friends without Acuras.

I went there last summer and it was $129 for a CL, sides and back. Ask for Brian DuBois. I assume he still works there. I've been meaning to stop down there and tell him how satisfied I am with his tint.

 

i had mine done in manassas...la tint. they guarantee their work. so far no bubbles...well, there are a few but very minute. i'm very meticulous and the bubbles don't bother me so they're okay. the only thing is they won't tint any darker than 50% front, 35% back and rear panels. i've had all my cars done there and i think they're okay. they did my car in 1 hr. for $220 and that's with the best tint they have which is guaranteed not to fade.

 

I know this is an old thread but an update on National Glass Tinting in Kensington, MD. I talked to them today about tinting my car and if Brian works there (who gave Aegean and JRock deals: $129) and he doesn't. But I talked to the owner, Marc, nice guy, and he said he would honor the price I think I will get my car tinted 20% all around in a month!
