I can definately feel the difference.. No more TYPE S power.. Shit, and my appointment is next wednesday.. NOOOOO

I feel like a part of me is missing....

Luckily I can drive my sister's SLK 320 all weekend since she is out of town...

Oh ya and the power to my homelink mysteriously died? anyone have an idea?

You should call them to get them to order one [actuator] so they have it to install by then, otherwise it will take another trip BACK!

Because, they DON'T stock them!!!

they sure dont, besides you might have to fight with them about getting it fixed. Mine took me 2 weeks to finally get them to agree to fix it , and now it is going to take another 3 days till they get the part.

I would tell these guys, "Fix my shit now! You probably don't think $30k is alot but for me its a lot!"

Hell, I would say that even with my $8k camry at the Toyota dealership

I just had mine fixed yesterday!!

They called Wayne at Park Ave Acura and ordered the part over night.

It took just 30 minutes to install!

It doesn't sound good.. It revs a lot slower I noticed mostly.

And like 3rd on the highway even is brutal.. There still is power when VTEC kicks in but not even close to the power I like.

Mostly I noticed, its a lot harder to breakt the tires loose, even on corners..

How do you premium guys do it?

Ahhhh shit....are you guys saying that your actuator was working at some point, and now it doesnt work? fck!!!!!!!! I thought it was a problem from the factory, meaning that it wasnt working from the beginning....

They pulled a new one off a Type S in the lot to fix mine. It was just a solenoid for the actuator though.
