None of my windows will work

So for starters I bought this 2002 Acura Tl with 75k miles about 4 months ago. During the test driving process I didn't realize it but the drivers side window did not work. All the other windows worked .So last week I wanted to fix the drivers window. So I just figured it was a bad window regulator so I replaced it. That did not fix the problem and as a matter of fact after doing that ALL the windows quit working. So then I replaced the drivers side switch that didn't fix it either. I'm really frustrated and lost as to what I should do next? Can someone please help me figure this out. I just bought this car and am very confused and lost!!

Grab a copy of the service manual and start the troubleshooting process. I would imagine the following possible point of failures:
  • a fuse
  • the switch
  • a relay
  • the regulator
  • bad ground or open wire to any of the above components.
With a well planned approach, It won't be that difficult to figure out. Start at the more obvious locations and then move forward or backward from there based on the result. for example: it you test that the window switch if putting out voltage when you press the button then you can move forward (more than likely to a relay) but if it's not even getting voltage move backward toward a fuse.

Windows still will not work

So I've done that by first replacing the regulator, then the drivers side window switch. So what else could be left to replace. And I hear and see alot of people talking about "doing the reset procedure " but that is impossible to do in my case because the window wont go up or down they do not do anything at all. Can someone please give me some.insight or guidance?

get a multimeter and ensure that when you press the switch, you're getting power to the regulator

Windows still will not work

So what's the best way to check if the regulator is getting power?
