Nokia 8890 Express Car Kit

Does anyone else have this? Where did you mount yours on your CL-S, I bought 2 of them and mounted it on the M3 but can't find a good place on the CL-S, suggestions?

I don't think you will find too many people with the 8890.....I have it, was a waste of money (had the AT&T 8860 before this), but its neat.

The kit is good for the 8290 also if I'm correct (universal for several phones).

I have the Nokia kit installed in my red type-S. I put the microphone on the A frame ( I ran it under the plastic molding - pops right off ). I plugged the speaker in the center console Lighter jack and rann the wires torough to the cup holders. I have no visible wires. The only thoing you can see is the microhone sticking out of the A-frame and the phone sitting nicely in the cup holder compartment. I can give detailed instalation instructions if needed.

Pro-Fit International makes a custom bracket that fits right between the radio and your right side of your A pillar(the part that pops off thats either plastic wood trim or gray marble trim) for our cars. Here is the web site and I hope this helps.

Double click on VSM.

I'm using this particular bracket and it looks custom. My whole set up is hard wired and custom installed. If your in Los Angeles your welcome to take a look at it. I'm in town this week.

Red-CLS,
Can you provide more detail? How you did it, etc.?

BTW...where is Ringoes, NJ? Never heard of it.

Thanks

Ok, I'm being an idiot.

Not much explanation needed Red-CLS. I just rememberd what the A-Frame is. Now everything makes sense to me.

Sorry.
