Kid, you have to remember that the CL is *not* a performance car for the majority of people who own one. It is a luxury coupe. Didn't you learn anything from Revolver's accident? Racing gets you killed. You are the type of person I curse at on the Beltway every day because you feel it is your right to cut across three lanes of traffic, tailgate and excessively speed no matter what the conditions, just so you can have fun.
I think it's time you remember that driving is a privilege not a right, and don't come crying to us when you get a ticket or lose your license because of speeding/racing.
Just my opinion.

imo, there's a huge differnce between racing around like an idiot and putting other ppl at risk vs. racing in a semi controlled environment.
for my part i schedule races in an industrial complex either early on a saturday or sunday when no one else is around. there are still risks but at least my friends and i minimize them as best we can. we also race at the track which is more fun but the lines can be long. flame away but until they put 65 mph governs on our cars ppl will race and drive like idiots.

Some people do dumb things, they will race on the street, wreck their cars and hurt themselves and others. Happens every day. Why should that cause a forum to be closed?
I posted on there often because I like cars, all cars, and like to learn about them and share my experience with others.

Plus, if you actually read that section, you would notice it was starting to turn to Racist Stories.

Oh, come on, guys. I looked at the racing forum and feel really disappointed. Most of the posts in there are either bashing other cars or trollers from other forums come here and bash our cars. I dont see the goodness of that forum. Let it be gone. Again, it's just my opinion.

no one is forcing you to check that forum. if you don't enjoy the forum feel free to read the more interesting forums.

I think track information/experiences could be discussed in Car Talk.

Shaka,
My friendly race challenge at the track is still valid. What are you affraid of? I have only a CAI
Either admit that CLS is faster then your maxima 5-SP, or meet me at the track.

You guys have to remember that we are also trying to keep bandwidth usage to a minimum while we look for a new host. That forum was just a haven for trolls to bash us and each other which is just a waste. The odds are Racing Stories will probably be back, but for now you'll have to deal without it. Plus, like Amir said, it was turning into "Racist Stories" instead of clean fun....

Hey BigShot your starting again? First of all I don't even live in the USA! And second of all I really don't like going there since there are so many kids with guns and racism (as seen be a few members of this board). If you are serious your best bet is to post at www.maxima.org and let them know your location. Have a good day!

Everyone must be waiting onthe SC .. then we can have more race kill stories.. maybe regarding the new Altima, I35, and Max.. heck even stories about taking a GS400/430, stock E36 M3, or a 540 if we had the supercharger

so this is where everyone went! I posted a thread on racing stories today with no replies. I thought big bad Mike banned EVERYBODY! There is a way to get there- most of the guys here are smart enough to figure it out. Just don't tell shakakan. Oh how nice it will be- racing stories without shakakan and his bicycle.

no but seriously guys our country is horrible... we should outlaw guns, limit all cars to 65, take away the right to smoke, and we should put cameras in peoples houses and make sure their not doing anything the government might think is wrong...
And above all don't let people talk about "bad" stuff
