Nitrous Install Question

For those of you who have actually installed nitrous kits on your CL, how did you set it up? I have to do an installation of a Nitrous Express Single Fogger Wet Kit and would just like some tips for this specific vehicle, meaning a CL/TL. Did you mount the bottle on the driver side of the trunk? Where did you tap for fuel, the fuel rail test port or the fuel feed line? Any pics of how you did it? Where did you tap in on the intake? Any tips on how you did the wiring? Did you use the WOT switch? I'm assuming yes b/c the TPS switch is generally for TB's w/ drive-by-wire. I know how to install the kits; I'm just wondering if anyone had any pics or tips before I start the install on this specific vehicle.

When I did have nitrous on my car, I do remember the bottle was installed on the driver side. I'll see if I can find some pics however I had the zex dry kit.

I would assume that tapping fuel at the fuel pressure regulator would be the easiest location.

Well they tell you to either access the fuel rail test port, where mechanics would test for fuel pressure or the fuel feed line so I think I may have to go the feed line. I recommended the wet kit. I feel that the extra fuel sprayed with the nitrous is a little extra security that one cylinder doesn't run lean.

I'd recommend a new 255lph fuel pump as well.

^^^ depends on the size of the shot. I'm not sure about the second gen's, but I think their pumps are the same. The first gen's kind of have a weak fuel pump as it is, but it CAN handle up to a 75 shot.

Anything more and you MUST upgrade the fuel pump. If the customer you are installing this on want's security. Definitely suggest a fuel pump.

Nitrous Express says there is no need to upgrade fuel components or do any timing retard. They do recommend running colder plugs but that is about it.

When they tested it were they using a 50/75/100 shot? and did they test it on a long run or just a couple runs... cause I'm sure he'll need to upgrade the fuel components cause they stock ones arent use to handling that kind of pressure...
