NGK Spark Plugs...question

Hi,
Im planning to buy NGK Iridium spark plugs for my 2001 CL-S and I was wondering which part number is the right to get and what is the difference between them. I see people reccomending NGK BKR6EIX-11 but on their web site is NGK ZFR5FIX-11 for my car.

Which one should get? What the difference?

Thanks

I went with the ZFR6FIX-11

The ZFR5FIX-11's are for the CL-P (Premium)

those are the applications for that plug - only for the Integra, NSX and Legend. Get the one the NGK site says too.

How do you like them? Did you notice any difference from stock. I have about 60,000 miles and Im thinking of replacing them.

cant really tell a difference, but mine had 80k on them. it was bugging me, so I got the NGK ones because they are only like $7/plug and should last another 100k - so its a good piece of mind job

Based on the 2001 Acura Owner's Manual the specified spark plugs are

For the Premium

NGK: PZFR5F-11
Denso: PKJ16CR-L11

For Type S:

NGK: PZFR6F-11
Denso: PKJ20CR-L11

Therefore for a 2001 Type S the recommended Iridium plugs are Denso IK20 or the NGK ZFR6FIX-11
