NEXT CAR..want someting nice BUT....

I have to try to save myself some money next time....

Im looking to stay around the $25k range...trying to lower my monthly payment
Just moved into my new home, getting married next summer, and have to start thinking about a couple of years from now.

So what do you guys recommend?

i would prefer a V6, but would take a turbo 4 like a 1.8t jetta or something.

any suggestions??

Thanks fellas

does it have to be new? there are plenty of things that you can get in that range if you were to go the pre-owned route

my 350z was 37k. I think the base model starts at 27K but you really don't get much with that beyond the bare necessities (like the VQ ). What about the saab 9-3?

Do what I did: refinance your car loan at the lower rates! I went from 8.0% to 5.0% with no refinance fee. Now I'm paying $68 less every two weeks. Credit unions are !

I know it pushed the payoff date out a little bit, but the extra money for now is worth the extra interest I will pay overall. Besides, if things get good again, I could always pay extra on the loan.

I'm getting married in September, and I just quit my job in January and started my own company, so I hear ya on the money saving thing. I was thinking about doing the same thing, but this refinance really worked out better than a new car would have.

Good luck!

Bryan
