You do know that the SRT Viper is an $80k car with a $3k gas guzzler tax? And is completely useless, doesn't make a good daily driver at all.....so you'll need a second car.

The 03s are sold out to certificate holders, you would have to wait until the 04s are out (unless you want to spend thousands over MSRP).

This guy just got his........Woodhouse Dodge rocks, great Viper dealer.

I actually like the new one but love the old one. The old one, IMO, was the perfect imterpretation of an American Supercar. Gotta love those side exhausts. The GTS coupe is my fav. I think the proportions of the new one looks ungainly from some angles.

Though any Viper=shocking, looks and performance wise.

My problem with the new Viper is that while I like it, I don't think its "that" amazing looking. It's cool, but for $83k, it needs to be amazing.

Also, while the new SRT is better than the previos Viper and is a bit more civilized.....I'm not sure just how much better it is overall.

I agree. But, what if it comes with the Venom twin turbo package putting out 800 HP to the wheels? Is that amazing? Sure.... But still not worth the dough.

Mind you, the new NSX is up around that money, and that seems pretty pricey for a car that hasn't really changed in over 10 years.... unless this year had a change... memory fart, don't remember.

What's going on duuude........

There is a hardtop coming out for the SRT in about 5 or 6 months for an additional $2-$3k over the $83k (from what I hear).

Basically, there is nothing in the pipeling for an SRT coupe. If the SRT convertible is a huge success, they might just do it. But don't expect to see one for at least 3 years or so.

If you want a coupe, the Ford GT is probably your ticket.

Dont plan on driving that thing everyday... u may end up hating it. Have a camry or something as ur daily driver to balance things out.

ps - u guys think our wheel gap is crazy... look at those on the new viper
