New Transmission on Friday

An analyst from American Honda Mediation Group left a msg on my voice mail today.

About 2hrs later the local dealer called to tell me that the new tranny was delivered today and that my CL-S "should be ready by Friday".

I called American Honda back, and the guy stated that this was the first case that he personally worked on involving an entire tranny replacement on such a new car.

He stated that he has asked for a complete technical report of the porblem to be emailed to him from the regional repair guru who was investigating this. This guy promised to share the findings of the tech report to me asap. Perhaps even tomorrow...

I'll be back soon w/ more info.

Oh Yeah, they gave a rental - a Jeep Cherokee Laredo. This experience did prove valuable to me in one regard...It confirmed my belief that I will never own an SUV.
