Solara's have always looked feminine to me. This new style still looks like a "chic's car" IMHO... Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'd ride with a chic who had one.

Where is my super sauce?
It's like the CL's retarded cousin.
Look's like it had similar ancestry, but something just isn't right.
But honestly, specification-wise, it's not too different from the CL-P of MY2001. With the V6 it has 225HP/260 TQ and weighs in at about 34xx pounds. Looks like no V6 for the MT model. Smart move Toyota. I also like the CL Type S suspension specs more the this Toyota.

The looks are cool. It needs more power and dual exhaust to make it look REALLY sporty. Okay, that sounded stupid but I am a sucker for dual exhuast.

I like it overall, its kinda like a ES300 coupe. Very nice interior, 17 inch rims, 5sp auto, and JBL system on the top of the line model. The rear is kinda odd like the 1st gen CL but I could live with that.
However, I don't think I would drive this car, I need something more aggressive. Perhaps a V6 Accord Coupe with body kit or G35 coupe would be more "manly".

I saw that Solara car in demo on the way to the Lexus dealship with my cousin last weekend.
At the beginning I saw the back, it looks like the SC430 so much with a Toyota trunk badge.
And the interior look pretty cheap too.

The last gen Solara was alright (for a chicks car), but this one just looks like ass.
225hp/240tq ?? Hmmm.. it makes less Hp, but has more Tq then the CLS. I like cars w/ more tq then hp, but this thing is fugly.
And you can't get the V6 with a stick.
I does look like the Tiburon only worst

Took one out for a test drive the other day after seeing it on the road. Let me say, this car is not worth the money. The ride is rough, not enough power, even with a M/T, and the interior looks really shitty. I do have to say that it looks much better then the First Gen., but still not worth the money. I talked to one of the guys at the dealership and they said that TRD is making a new supercharger for it, and it is going to kick ass if you get the SLE V6. I still would never buy this car, and the only reason why I took a test drive is to prove to myself that my CL-S 6 speed is the shit and always will be!!!!!!
