They were about $200 for all 4 w/shipping, pretty good deal. It's nice not driving with warped OEM rotors anymore!

I think you front rotors are on backwards. (in otherwords they are switched from left to right) If your moving forward your rotor slots and and holes should sweep from inside to outside. Like your rears do.

They look sharp with thoes wheels!

negative, some brands sweep forwards, and some sweep backwards

however, if r1's are supposed to sweep backwards, but he has him sweeping forwards, then it is an issue.

If that is the case would the fronts and rears not sweep the same direction?

I just put in an email to R1 concepts. You know, I get so F*ing pissed when we pay soo much money for labor and they don't install things right. So far I've had: bubbled window tint, bent steering knuckle that was completely obvious after looking at it with the wheels off-all they did was replace the strut, i've had directional tires mounted the wrong way, and i've had the paint scraped off of my wheels on the outer edge from an outdated mounting machine. F*!!!!!!

it all depends on the company. sometimes yes, but most of the time no, the sweep in opposite directions

Stopping power is great. A vast improvement over the OEM's, which were warped. I replaced the pads with ceramic ones from Advanced Auto parts.

So true, so true. I could write a book on my experiences. I just had a windshield replaced by Giant Glass. They did $800 in damage to my car.

I do too....i know there are alot of naysayers here that claim painted calipers are ricey. With upscale rotors they kinda fit the part better. I still might replace all of the little wheel studs around the rim lips with black ones....i think it would really set off the rotors.

Hmm, after going to the site to check these rotors out, I think they're right about them being installed incorrectly according to this pic:

http://images.r1concepts.com/images/eline.jpg

What is the exact rotor you ordered? I want to get me a set. At $200, that's a steal! (and I need new rear brakes)

They're so new it shouldn't matter too much....I'm definitely going to mention it to the garage manager........now i'm not sure if i'm going to have them replace the steering knuckle and install my Tein's when they come in! We'll see what he has to say about it. I'm also looking at getting new tires.....I'm leaning towards the Kumho AST's 235/45 17

I don't know where yall are getting these pads and all four rotors for 200 bucks. The website doesn't list anything that cheap. unless you mix and match the Rear OE replacement rotors for 36.95, Axxis Organic brake pad 35.25, the front drill slot brake rotors with pads for 125.85.

They do look good in the box and will stop better than the warped ones I have now. Here is a auction number for the company 320270489188. I paid $189.00 for 4 rotors and Posi Quiet pads. This auction is for different pads but you should be able to get the ceramic ones. I have these pads on my wifes Miata and they stop real well.

Called R1 and got a similar deal.. I like the look... I live in CA, so got hit with the tax, but still was under $250 with ceramic posi-quiet pads. The pricing is solid... Acura wants $115.08 per rotor (not with pads) for Acura part.... ack...
