New Rims are Scratched!!!! ARGHH
i took the day off from work today, knowing that a big brown truck was going to be delivering 4 nice packages. my excitement quickly dwindled as i began removing the cardboard and foam padding. 3 of the 4 rims are damaged!!!!!!!!
here's just two of the rims (mulitple scratches):
some of the gouges are pretty significant.
the seller is making it right by sending return labels, but now i have to wait even longer.

I went round and round with Fedex ground over the same thing. It even got worse after submitting an insurance claim. They came to pick up two rims to be inspected, then they lost one rim. after 2 weeks, the rims never got inspected and they finally found the lost one. They ended up paying the insurance claim cause they didn't know what else to do.
It worked out for me though, I got rims (17" Moda R6's) with pretty much new tires for $100.

just dropped them off at UPS...hopefully, they'll be back by next week.

Well at least you know some brand spanking new rims will be on your doorstep by next week. Nothing more than a hassle. However i can see why your upset considering those are some sweeeet rims.

man, i was so stoked this morning...planned on having the rims put on, taking it to firestone for their lifetime alignment (i lowered the CL last week), and then taking it over to my friend's shop to have OBX headers installed.
i was so upset at the scratches, having to wrap the rims/tires back, and dropping them off at UPS, that i didn't have the desire to follow through with the rest.
but yeah, i like the rims too!
