New Navi version (2.05) is ready today!
It's on the Acura website. Somehow I don't think this is much of an upgrade; I don't think it's the entire US as promised soon, not quite yet. It is $152 and it was released 9/01/01 but the coverage link still shows older, outdated coverage. So the question is should I give it a try? I'm still working on 1.09 so I think I may order 2.05 anyway, if I don't get the entire US, at least I will benefits from all the other upgrades. I think I'm going to order it by the end of today.....
I just took a look on the website also thanks for the info. I am also not sure of what it has. Its Saturday & can't get any real info from ACURA untill Tuesday because of holiday. Iam do for an updated version anyway on my 2000TL. We need more info on this before we fork over $152.00. I hve no way of knowing how much it has improved since I have the 1st version of the DVD anything is better than mine.
i think the 2.05 has been out since the only difference between it and the last one (2.03?) is that this has extra stuff the mdx navi uses, but otherwise it's no different than the last one.

So, what about 2.05? Somehow I don't think there will be much difference until it revs to 2.1, no?

No I don't think so. Looking back I see that was 2.04 that made the MDX difference. Note that I said 2.05 was release TODAY according to the Acura website. The MDX has been around for longer than today.

Okay soopa I am going to order it the ACURA website is not working today. I don't think the people will be there Monday because of holiday. I wan't it bad I need it 1.09 version is pretty old now. Some of you guys got to post what neighborhoods are not covered as roads. Here in D.C.just about everything is covered on my version. I know some places like a new devolopements that my sister had her house built 3 months ago would not be covered. I have seen post that old established hoods have not been mapped. I know that my aunts street in Bighamton N.Y.
was not covered on my 1.09. She has lived on that street for 34 yrs. I put in the rural road that is just up from her street.
The Nav took me there & just about to her street because I know the way & put it in.
I just think some things are maped & others not. Take for instance a cousins street address is maped in Hampton V.A. so is his sons & daughters that live on the next street. He is a building contractor & built his house. He also built 12 houses at his end of the block & all on the next two streets. His house is about 35 yrs old but his sons & daughters are not they are about 13yrs. I remember when that street was just woods. So thats why I wonder why my aunts street is not maped & that neighborhood has been there over 34yrs. When I get the new version I will let you know.
