new navi disc v2.11c
hey guys i live over in edison, nj . i was wondering if anyone around had the new disc and can burn a copy for me....

I believe the Navi DVD's are multilayered and cannot be copied.

i could have sworn i saw a multilayered dvd burner for sale. was anyone successful in creating a backup copy?

I know Sony has a new desktop with dual layer DVD burner built-in and there are a few external dual layer DVD drives out too.

i think the problem is the media. the drives are out but the dual-layered dvd media is not

Just buy the new one. It’s well worth the upgrade.

Then sell your old one on EBAY.
They’re still going for 75-100 bucks on average.
I got over 100 for mine a few months back.

Are there any major changes on the new disc? My town (Austin) has so much growth that the disc could ever be completely up to date anyway.

It depends on the area.
MY area was quite sparse on the older versions and only showed the major roads & interstates.
Now the new version has every little road & side street.

Did the voice really change? I still have my original disc from < June 2002, lol. Not sure what version it is. I suppose I'll upgrade soon since it's been 2+ years.
