New Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 225/50ZR-17

I bought the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S from Tire Rack and had them installed at my local Wal Mart. Installation comes out only about $12 per tire. Even though I only had them for a week, these tires are great in the dry. Due to the semi draught we have in Jersey, I don't know the wet traction yet. Its very quiet and the rated wear is 400. By looking at the tread design, I think it will do fine in the snow also.

I have the Pilot Sports myself. Dry traction is awesome... wet traction is good too although I never push any car in the rain. As for snow... no way in hell I'm leaving mine on for the winter. I do not think they are rated for winter driving.....

I think yours are different from mine. My A/S is an all-season tire. From your sig, I don't think its A/S.

i have the A/S tires on my car. They are OK for a CLS without headers. HOwever, once you add headers......you'll need some better tires....unless you have the 6MT w/ HLSD. Wet traction is MUCH better.

The Pilot A/S are a pretty good all season tire... I wonder how they'd perform if I were to add sways though???

Wal-Mart is Great to get tires at cause the thing I hate is when I get a flat is you gotta take it back to the place you bought it from for free repair(which wal-mart does). well the area we live in has 3 or 4 super wal-marts(which has tire and lube stations) so if one is super busy or the service guys there are buttholes you can go to another ones. Mad props to Wal-mart service center.

i've had nothing but great experiences with my A/S's!! in the wet, i have pushed them in controlled conditions...u can drive aggressively in the wet and still get good traction if u want, but i'd advise against it with traffic around u

Dry traction is fantastic, you can definitely push much harder through the turns with the sways.

For rain, they have a super grip. Need to back down a bit because of the fear factor. But Mich rates these tires better in the rain than in the dry!
With the stocks, they would spin and drift in the rain. The Pilot A/S stays put. From a start, you get some wheel hop as they bite in.

These are rated very good for snow. Haven't had any snow to try them in yet though.
