I've been here for a few months and have learned so much on this forum . I bought this in march for $15k from a dealer. 03 6 Speed Navi with 78k miles. It was a bit on the high side but i've was looking for 3 months and had no luck untill this one poped up. I called the guy at the dealer before he even put the pictures up. hahaha.

So far........K&N drop in w/ resonator removed, XS headers, bored TB port matched to IM, Thermoblok spacer, Powerslot Cryo treated front rotors w/ Hawk HPS pads, Brembo Blanks in the rear with EBC greens (so much brake dust!), LED brake lights, tag light, and inside. Cusco lower brace and lip spoiler on its way. H&R sports and Tokico Blues soon......

I finally had the chance to take some pics right before it rained after a fresh detail.

looks hot. welcome aboard ! yeah, i love our cars asses, i do think about the m5 lip, not a big fan of the oem spoiler though. havent decided what i'll do if anything. enjoy the new whip!

 

yeah, i'm waiting on the lip spoiler to come in.. they didn't have it in stock so I had to wait...

 

Do you have a video and or would you mind making a video of the LED tails? I've thought about doing it, but I'd like to see how it looks first.

Are they bright during the day and do you get a dash light because of the lack of resistance?

there shouldn't be any sound differance. you don't need a K&N to have gains.. you should replace it with K&N when you need to. if you need help with the ghetto box mod, PM me

 

I'll make a video when I get a chance. At first I did one side to compair. The red is not as much "pinkish" with the RED LED's. It's more like a red now.

They seem to look the same during the day and yes the dash light is on. I'm planning on getting the resistors soon.


If you just throw in a K&N drop in, there will not be a sound differance. I did the K&N drop in and took the resonator out and kept the rubber elbow in. Sounds nice but there is that little humming sound on idle.

The K&N drop in with the intake resonator removed screams pretty good in VTEC. I have no stock car to compare it to, but it has to be louder from 5k up with the resonator mod.
