Greetings to all. Just found this site and joined up. Just bought an '01 CL Type-S and loving it. Gonna start some mods and get a new paint job pretty soon. Reading through the threads, just want to say thanks to all the posters for sharing your experiences. I already have a wealth of knowledge at my disposal and things to consider before I spend a dime. Welcome man! I joined last September when I bought my baby, an 03 CLS6 and it's the fun I've ever had behind the wheel. Most everyone on here is awesome. Post some pics and baby that tranny!

 

I am new as well. Purchased a 2001 Type S a couple weeks ago and is a pretty awesome switch from my crown vic police interceptor. I am gonna do some mods as well, looking for the right choice in suspension ive been researching for hours. Some very usefull info thanks guys.

My Tein springs are great! Couldn't ask for a better look and ride. They are also very reasonable cost-wise. Welcome aboard, keep an eye on that tranny!

My car came from Carmax , i have 50k more as to my warranty for a new trans installed by acura for $300
After that is done maybe a manual swap will be instore, many miles down the road .
