Aem short ram doesn't exist for CLS. Your options are AEM CAI or Icebox. This subject has been beat to death. I would recommend searching for eveyones options

Welcome to the looney bin!

Got any mods planed besides the CAI?

BTW, if you want one hell of a mean growl under WOT when Vtec kicks in, go with the AEM, otherwise go CT Icebox. My Injen sounds outstandingly sexy under WOT yet fairly stock under normal driving conditions.

thanks again.
i have alot of plans for her which will come with alot of questions i am sure.
I just recently got her so im gonna start with:
tint
intake
headers
'01 fogs
strut/sway bars
some how install stock acura navi or aftermarket
In the summer time throw some performance rims and tires on. AND of course id like to get a CT SC on, thats the ultimate goal of course

.... between the injen and CT which has more gains, from what has been said i assume CT right?

CT Icebox will give you the absolute most gains but you'll only get about 3hp more which is negligible. If you want to squeez out the most possible power but keep the stock sound, go with CT. If you want the best of both worlds (sexy sound AND hp), go with AEM. I think it's more or less what you want to get out of it. I don't think they make the Injen for the 6'er so you only have two options. The AEM should sound just like, or very similar to the Injen I would only assume... SEXY!

Oh, personally, the first thing I'd do is drop it... Get rid of that monster truck 4X4 look.

yea, i feel yea there. i think the suspension is so smooth though and aggressive at the same time. What would match the comfort but would lowering it an inch--inch 1/2 aftermarket, Tein? prices?

Well, everyone with Tein coilovers will tell you to do coilovers over any spring/strut combo. Personally, unless you want to go super low and have height adjustment, springs should do you fine. Like yourself, I like a smooth ride to as well as better handling but I also love the aggresive looks of a lowered car, especially on the 2nd Gens. I went with H&R springs and absolutely love them. The ride is a perfect combination of sport/luxury IMHO and it looks outstanding. I'm still on my stock struts but when they die, I'll probably replace them with Koni Yellow's. I've read that combo is awesome.

Not too sure on prices. Look around, you might find some good deals. Check the Black Market too.

Then again... This is all coming from someone who is very biased.

If you were only going to lower it an inch, I say don't bother. Once you did it, you'll probably be wanting to go lower.

Again,

Just curious, are those the H&R Race or Sport and do you need to adjust camber/camber kits with them?

the sports look real nice. i'm leanin that way now, still not sure about AEM CAI or CT intakes still.

Can i buy i guess it would be '01 or '02 fog lights (switch, harness, etc.) from the dealer/s? Or do i just have to find them on my own?

Welcome to the money pit. I had the AEM CAI when I got the car and changed it for the CT. Never regretted it. I hated the AEM, thought it made the car sound ricey. The CT's are a little louder than stock and looks better in the engine bay. Also, the AEM can lead to hydrolock if you run through some water.

Welcome, good to see another 6-speeder in the SE PA area. If you are unsure about the intake, wait for a meet so you can see/hear both. BTW, I went with Comptech.
