New Manual Transmission Fluid ...

If I have the an acura dealer change my MT fluid do I have to be sure they are using the 'new stuff' ??? Does everybody have it by now ???

I don't think it's a given that everyone has the new MT fluid on their shelves.

You can give him the part number and have him check. My dealer got changed over around the first of the year and that's all they have.

I am using Amsoil Tranny Fluid that I just changed to about a month ago. Doesn't seem too bad.

def got to get this stuff, my old fluid feels so knotchy in any temprature below 65 degrees. till it warms up at least.

I made them double check and put the part number on the work order. Stuff is the balls. Recommend it for every 6 Speed.

is that part of the 60k tune up? im having mine done this weekend and ill make sure they use that stuff if they are going to change it.

Had to bring this up, had mine replaced and installed a TL shift knob....major noticable difference really so much smoother. A recommended hundred dollar upgrade ( fluid flush/replace and shift knob )
