New guy here......
Hi guys, I just bought an '01 CL Type-S this past Sunday, and am loving it!! It's silver, has Nav and everything else. Great friggin' car, just wish it was rear wheel drive, lol.
Anyone know:
How to get the manual for the Navigation? It's the only paperwork the previous owner didn't have for me....OR......how to reset the PIN# to set my home address into the Nav? He forgot his PIN........
Also, is the headlights fogging up common on these? How hard is it to replace the light? My passenger side is fogged up and I've heard you have to remove the bumper cover to get it out!?!?

Well besides those of us who like getting 32mpg on the highway and have to drive in the snow during the winter.
Im glad this bad boy is front wheel drive, if i wanted a rwd car I would have got a used 2003 g35 for close to the same price.

I did a quick search to help you out
try opening your glove box and there should be a sticker on the side of it. There should be a four digit number and that should be it your default pin #
or call your dealer and give them your vin, they will give it to you

Cool, I was on Ebay earlier and iddn't see the manuals, I'll go back and look.
As far as the numbers in the glovebox and rack, I thought those were the codes to reset them Nav and or stereo if the battery got disconnected. I have the card with those codes...the reset code for the Nav is the same as the PIN?

honda owners manuals:
https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp
i'd also recommend resealing the headlights instead of replacing it.. much more cost effective

yeah, that's probably what I'll do now that I see the options on here to fix it.
I REALLY am not into the thought of pulling off the bumper to remove the headlight. What is the gel stuff guys on here are talking about taping inside the light?

Oh, I meant a link to get the instructions for my Nav. Found and ordered it!
As far as plans for the car, not much. I bought this to have a nice clean daily driver that I wouldn't be tempted to modify, and this fits the bill.
I do plan:
-20% tint
-replacing two passenger side wheels that the previous owner curbed up for me
-gotta do somthing about my passenger side headlight fogging up with water. Put a heat lamp on it lastnight and that cleared it up, but 20 minutes after I turned the light off it all came back..........
Who knows, maybe more down the road, but for now it is good.
