New found appreciation

My 01 CLS is in for brake service and I have a 2000 Integra as a loaner. No offense Integra owners, but I have a new found appreciation for my CLS. I used to think it had a lot of wind noise, but after this Integra I know why I can hear the wind noise. It is quiet to the point that all there is left to hear is the wind!

I had the exact same experience as you last month. The Integra loaner was noisy, underpowered and had a rougher ride. The CL-S seemed so nice once I got it back.

Before I even drove the Integra, the service advisor joked that they give you those cars to make you appreciate what you have.

Same here. I got a RSX loaner, and while it is definitely not a bad car, I just could not bring myself to drive it for more than a day. The next day, I brought the RSX in and asked for a loaner TL. That, and the girl working the counter was hella cute...

The CL was a nice upgrade from my old Integra in performance, comfort and luxury.

I do miss the cargo versatility of the hatchback; it could swallow a 32" TV, no problem. Also being able to park in almost any available spot in the city (without joining the Scratched Rim Club...) was a nice.

I had the exact same feeling when I got an RSX loaner! Not a bad car, but when I got the CL-S back, it was like comparing a jet to a biplane! I guess you get what you pay for. I drove an Integra for years and nothing about it really bothered me too bad, but once you drive the CL-S, I guess you get a little spoiled. :P

This particular dealer that I go to, Fountain auto mall, has a 15 square mile radius rule. If you live within 15 miles of the dealership you get the courtesy van treatment. If you live past the 15 miles you get a loaner. However, if you live outside of the 15 miles and all the loaners are out I guess you'd have to wait until one is available.
