I had 4 people in my car & we roll up behind a new couger, I was like wtf...why not, so tha light turns green & i speed up & get next to him(i love starting in seond already rolling) & we both nod & were off..He pulls ahead of me at first but by the end of second were right next to each other & to make a short story even shorter, i beat him by like 3 car length's, w/ 4 people in my car. I dunno if i should be proud of this defeat, but it was my first real race & im proud anyways, Take it easy & happy cl'ing.

Are you sure it was a V6? They make 4 cylinder Cougars too.

 

it was probably a v-6 auto, or even worse a 4cyl.

my friend has a cougar v-6 5spd and we raced. i beat him by a carlength on the street.

funny thing is i got my ass handed to me by him on the 1/4 mile track. he was pulling 15.6's and i was pulling 16.5's. WTF?

 

What track did you use? I "so much" want to take my car to a track and get "real" time trials. I don't trust my G-Tech Pro.

 

i took it 75&80 dragway in maryland. it's notorious for being a little slower on it's times because it's slightly uphill. i also launched bad.
