Hi, just got my 03 CLS couple months ago. Its NBP/tan, got 35k miles, navi, and the 6speed gearbox. I love it , the looks, acceleration, luxury and most of all the 6speed are just unbelieveable. Before I got it, I was looking at a 3rd gen eclipse GT, but it fell through. I am glad I got the cls, because you cant even compare them. Been reading all the stuff in this forum and love it (especially all the modded and turbo CLs). Planning to put a turbo on mine when I can save up some dough Well anyways, here are some first pics...

nice catch! Looks like mine except you have the spoiler and the ACURA 3.2CL type-S badges on the back. Debadge it! Looks so much better IMO.

 

that puppy looks good. get rid of the stock shifter knob. get the one for the '06 TL. it fits perfect and snaps right in where the stock snaps out it is $56 at www.acuraoemparts.com

I agree, lose the stock totem pole shift knob, too tall, too light. I put a metal/leather TSX shift knob in mine. It's heavier and shorter.

 

Thanks for all the tips and comments guys. Hopefully I'll save enough to get some springs and nice rims, but that wont happen until spring, cuz the roads here SUCK! but I plan to tint it first. How dark with the tint, do you guys think, I can go without getting tickets by the pigs?

Since I've had my SMR CL for 4 years now, I'm starting to really like the Black and Blue Acuras...

I've said for awhile that my next car will be blue, but if I get another acura, it might have to be in black... Just something about a black ack...

thanks for the help, I'll probably tint it at 35% then...... cops are just too picky around here Black is def nice , but a pain to keep clean, plus you can see every little scratch and nick on it, versus other colors

Tint, Coilovers, CAI, Headers, etc... these are just some of the things that will suck up your cash like a vacuum.
