New CL-S owner in CT
Hey Bros!!!
I've been reading these threads for the past two weeks. I bought my 2003 Type S 6spd about one month ago and I could not be happier. I know that usually the kills go to the racing segment of this page but I have to tell you about my experience today. Floating along 91 south in CT and a Integra and 1999 Accord EX tried to get involved. Not an issue, dropped it into 3rd going 75 and left them in the dust. I'm soooooo happy that spring is here and the road are clear. I want to get more involved with the CL scene in the Northeast. Any recommendations? Look forward to hanging!!!

Seriously guys, this is my first post on this page and I think that all these post are top notch. Keep the info flowin so I can toast some more. Any ideas on a quick upgrade to my engine. CAI or Comtech Icebox? I work in a professional job and have to drive clients around every once in a while. From what I hear the icebox is a little more sleeperish and gives me 2-4 more hus over 6 grand on the tach than the CAI.

Get the icebox for the cheapest HP gains, then some headers from Comptech, unless you want to deal with fitment issues.
Congrats on the new car, hope you didn't pay too much for a discontinued car.

If you don't mind driving to boston (about an hour and a half) we have some meets up here. A worthwhile meet might be an F1 go-kart meet I'm gonna try and organize this late spring/early summer so stay tuned!

Being in a professional environment wont hinder your choice from getting a CAI or an icebox, if you have clients in the car just dont bring the car into vtech range. I personally love the sound of vtech from my CAI, but i havent heard what the icebox sounds like so....Good luck on the car though, oh defineitly drop the car with some springs, it makes the car 10x better with no ugly wheel gap, even on stock rims

Get the icebox. I heard the AEM on a 6 speed last night and it is VERY loud compared to stock. The icebox just growls a lil more. Icebox, Headers and a mild drop would really make your car awesome; and still "professional!"

Your attempts to persuade people that the auto is better than the 6-speed are comical.
It's should HAVE, not should OF. This has been driving me up a wall. I've been off-duty with my grammar enforcement lately, and I think I need to get back to it.
