new car
Hey people I'm getting another car and i just wanted your inputs on the cars I have in consideration. If there's another car that you think will find well on the list don't forget to mention it. I'm looking to spend around 20k on my next car.
toyota supra
Mitsubishi 3000gt vr-4
honda prelude
BMW M3
Lexus SC400
thanks a lot guys

I wouldn't consider the VR-4. They have a really bad problem with their transmissions. It's a german getrag unit and un-repairable. If you get the SL in an auto or 5 speed, they are better. I shopped for a VR-4 for years but settled for a SL when I found out about the trannies.

that is the car i always wanted...and tons of mod potential...
and my second choice will be JZA 80 TT Supra...tons of mod too..and stock TT supra has 80HP more than E36 ///M3...

what years? last gen with twin turbos, you'd be *extremely* lucky to find one for $20k in good shape. $$ is bloated.
3000gt VR4- is not a bad choice, but a newer one in excellent shape and low miles is going to be 25k. You can most defeintly buy an older one for cheap <$10k and spend the other $10k fixing it up. Might be a cool idea. if you are good at working on cars.
prelude:
should be easy to find one, odd choice consider the other cars.
M3:
you might be able to find a e36 M3 for cheap, going to take some work, people say it handles better than the e46 M3.
sc400:
I would get this car if you can find one for $20k. Probably the most reliable of the bunch next to the prelude. And still pretty quick.
