New to the board!

Picked up an 03 Type-S in Anthracite on Sunday. Was $26.7K before tax/fees a good deal? Was able to qualify for the 2.9% finance thing also.

Got in in 5-spd auto, though...had to think of the wife. They didn't have the navi w/Anthracite, and I cared more about the color than having the navi.

Don't expect to do too much to it...just springs, rims, maybe one of those poly-urethane kits if the group buy happens again.

congrats man...

if you think that's all you're going to do to your car after surfing this forum...you're in for a surprise.

Get the sways...they do wonders for handling...

and replace the OEM tires too

oh...and those struts won't last too long w/ the drop so get some Koni yellows

and if you're going to spend that much money on springs/struts, you might as well get coilovers

and the Cusco bars are pretty bad ass too

the CAI in VTEC is simply sick

and the headers are the best bang for the buck

yeah, i know about the tranny issues...and i bought one anyways.

i really wanted the six speed, oh well.

honestly, i don't think i'm going to go crazy with the mods...getting a bit older. my last car, which i still have, is a highly modded subaru legacy 2.5gt. if i do any mods, it's only going to be in the area of looks and handling.

I understand, still i wouldn't complain if i had to settle 4 an automatic cl-s vs. a 6spd cl-s lol

LOL - yes too bad you didn't get the stick - but I see your point with the wife - missing out on a quicker car!

Good luck on that tranny and welcome!

Can you provide your dealer's name and phone number? That's a great price IMHO.
