new to the board

ok, so i'm new here, i work at an acura dealer as a service advisor (the only thing is i work the mercedes benz office) but anyway, i'm on my second cl - first one was a 1998 CL3.0 current one is a 2001 CL Type-S
satin silver w/spoiler - everything else stock - i get along great with the acura techs, sales people, advisor and i talk a little to the factory rep when he comes in.
if anyone has any technical questions i will try my best to answer them or get the info from the acura techs, sales or parts people in my dealership. - thanks for reading

Welcome....….When will the 6-Speed CL-S be in your showrooms?

I see your location is listed as NEPA.
I would guess that means North East Pennsylvania….YES ???

Hello there acura_service!!

I bought my CL-S @ Motorworld from Pat N. in the Acura sales!! Small world!! Welcome to the board.

Please send me an e-mail with your name and I'll look you up next time I'm in for service. I usually go see Drew, but it's always nice to know someone else there.

BTW, my sunroof rattles have returned and I had the service bulletin work done on the car last fall!

Well, I'm looking forward to your e-mail!

Thanks in advance.

Pete

Are you located in the Scranton area? I was just up there in late June and stopped by a dealer like this with a friend. He wanted to see a CL-S and this dealer had not one, nor a TL-S. But, they did have a load of Honda MPVs! Would that be you guys?

Just looked at your web site map and that's it, across from The Woodlands. How come you guys don't have many Acuras?

i'll look into it, i just leased my acura 3 weeks ago, i know the mdx is like sold out for a while, we have a crapload of rsx's now, i think there is like 3 type-s' in stock, and a couple tl type-s' we are not really a large volume acura store, but for anyone who has had service nightmares and you live close by call drew he had number 1 csi in the country for acura, he is great to work with, loves acura and the customers
really goes all out for any acura customer so do the tech's and sales for that matter

Welcome! Your dealership sounds like the one I bought my car from in RI! All I can say right now is that my CL-S is the best car I have ever owned! I already have 6,300 miles on it since 3/28/01. I NEVER drive this much so soon! There are some things I'd like to see changed/modified, but overall, I'm VERY satisfied with this car. Only been to the dealer ONCE for oil/filter change. I hope it keeps up this way because this is just how I like it- NO dealer visits. My previous car has left me a little "gun shy" about service departments! Sometimes coming to this board makes me nervous too with some of the things I read here. I'm not a racer and have no engine mods and don't abuse my car, so I think I'll be fine. I guess time will tell. TIA for your help here.

Welcome, I think it is fantastic to see service people on this board as well. You guys probably know more or can get more info on these cars than any of us can, and your input is always appretiated.
Thanks to you , Jens and Wayne. we need more dealers like you guys
