I installed them one day after I installed my ice and at the same time I installed the crank pulley so I cant say what did what. I think I will just get another set now that its leaking in multiple places, I will just have the new ones rewelded before they are installed. Where are you getting yours from and how much?

Sorry to hear it man! How long did it take you to put them on? Hope it does not take too much to get them off. Did you really notice much differance with them, power wise?

If it was the one crack I'd take my wire feed to it! It might look like bird shit when I'm done but it would not leak anymore!
If there are multiple cracks it might be easier and cheaper to get new ones!

your seriously gonna order another set after what jsut happened?

i've really reconsidered now about buying xs headers. i was about to, but read too many bad things about them. i think ima move on to going with the DC headers instead.

You obviously didn't do enough hw...plenty of guys on here can vouch for the XS headers and i've read more complaints about the dc's.

My obx headers cracked there also. both front and back bank. I took them off and re welded them and a month later they cracked again. This happened 3 times so I ended up trashing the obx and buying comptechs.

buying xspower 3x would have been less hassle than re welding them and 700 bucks cheaper than ct's. the xs seems to be fairly decent quality considering there are only a few isolated incedent compared to the amount of ppl that have them. i would have stayed with the xs powers but i'm in CA and the ct's are carb legal.

Nice I just installed mine yesterday. Though a small crack like that looks easy to fix so I wouldn't be too worried. For the price though you could buy multiple sets and be fine lol.
