Neuspeed Upper Strut
3 questions b/c im interested in purchasing one:
1. did u take off the stock bar??
2. were there any clearance issues with the hood (i.e. did u have problems closing the hood b/c the bar was angled too high)??
3. how easy was it to bolt down??

2. Nope, it is the same height as the stock one.
3. Remove 2 nuts on each shock tower, place strut bar on bolts, tighten down the 4 bolts. Done.

Take off 4 nuts on shock tower, place strut
bar, replace the 4 nuts, tighten and 10 min.
later you have a much tighter-stable handling
car and thats after my other mods!

I have had mine on for about two weeks now. Unfortunately, I can't tell much change in handling. I don't pound around tight corners aggressively very often, so I'm probably not the best qualified to comment.

So I get home and open the hood to find that I already did it. I felt no difference whatsoever. I bang those corners at 80-85+. Maybe there is a difference but very minimal (about 80 dollars worth
) So maybe its psychological, but I had no idea it was in there and didn't feel THAT big of a difference to tell me it was in there.jeremy

CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE THE STOCK SWAY BAR!!!! The NUESPEED bar alone will NOT provide enough support!!!!
