Use that code and call an Acura dealership, you give them the serial number and they will give you a code.

DCS is most like something like Dealer Client Services and would be a section of the service network that Acura uses. Unless you work in an Acura service department, you won't have access.

Many dealers will require you to go to the dealership with your reg (to prove you own the car) to get the code (you'll need the serial number as well). Giving out the code over the phone would defeat the purpose of the coding as any thief could just call a dealer to get the radio activated again.

Just call the Acura 1-800 number in your owners manual. If you aren't the original owner they will require you fax over a copy of your drivers license and car title with your name on it. Once they have verified who you are they will give you the radio code. Acura dealerships may charge you for it but the 800 number will not.

Did you look on the side of the open glove compartment (looking from the driver seat) for a sticker?

He got the code from holding down the #1 and #6 on the radio. That displays the radio serial number.

The unlock code for my NAV & radio are on a sticker on the side of the glove box, the numbers he got from 1&6 are the serial number which allow him to ask Acura for the code I am asking if he has which is what he needs to solve his issue.

Not all cars have the sticker inside the glove box. Mine and a couple friends don't have them in their vehicles. The code from the radio gives him when he presses the 1 and 6 is all he needs to get his security codes from Acura. If he needs the navi serial number he can find it by removing the DVD player from the mount in the trunk and looking on the bottom of the DVD player.
