need window tint advice...

Can any tint experts tell me what to look for or avoid when I get my girlfriends car tinted for her?

Is any kind of tint better than any other kind? Does everyone use the same stuff?

Also, is 20% a reasonable darkness? It needs to be dark enough to block out the Arizona sun, but not so dark that it looks ghetto.

I did a search and the only thing I saw was that there is metallic tint or non-metallic. Will metallic really hurt phone reception?

Any tint advice would be appreciated...thanks....

First and foremost ask the person who will be tinitng the car how many tints he's done. That is very important because to be a good tinter you need lots of experience.
20% to give you an idea is the factory tint you find on most Chevy Tahoe/suburban.
Tint will not in any way or form hurt cell phone reception.
Look into titanium tint. It reflects light a little and keeps more sun out than your normal tint.

First, I would take it to a place that does quality work. I would also suggest getting tint that comes with a lifetime warranty. I have metallic tint on my car and I don't have any probs with the navi or phone.

I say if you're going to tint it, you might as well make it dark. I don't understand people who do shit like 50% all the way around. Makes no sense to me. 20% should be alright.
