Need Some Interior Advice

Just got my 01CP back from the paint shop- time for some small touches- Chase still screwing around with the title, so it's into the garage for a few days. I have a kit from Acura for a lighted cigarette lighter, replacing the power outlet. What's the procedure for getting everything apart to install from behind the dash? Any of you guys out there done this at home?? Please advise-

It came with a small harness with a green bulb. Also there is a silver stick-on with the new ashtray, but it doesn't say where.

Along the same lines, can anyone tell me how to remove the coin holder? I have some change stuck behind it and now the son-of-a-bitch does not close. Help....

Both of your problems are along the same lines...and its pretty easy to take off the console. There are a lot of DIY's on the forum on how to install an aftermarket radio- and just follow those procedures. If you can't find it, PM me and i'll write you up a quick step-by-step!

Good luck!

Found the link! Good Diections to Remove Console

Thanks, Dream-

I have removed my Legend console and my RX300 console, and this is definitely different!!

PS. Don't try the RX ashtray replacement unless you like jigsaw puzzles.

PS2- The coin tray lining just snaps in place- you don't need tools, just pull.
