Need some help with a decision . . .

So, as some of you may know, I have the itch for a new car. Please, do not get me wrong-I love my CL.
So, I have been looking at the TSX. My local dealer has a Carbon Grey one with Quartz (grey) interior. Of course it is a 6-speed, but it has navi also. It does not nearly have the amount of power that the CL has, but it has enough, and it handles like a dream.

Anyways, I can get into that for about a hundred more beans a month. The big question is, should I get it or stick with the CL???????

I really have no complete decision in my head. I love both cars for different reasons.

Plain and simple if I was in your situation, I wouldn't.

When I first bought the CL, I originally went to the dealer looking for a CL .. saw the tsx, liked that better, took it for a ride .. was very impressed with handling but not with the power. Got in a CLS shortly after and was sold on it within the hour. The TSX is a great car, handles sweet, nice interior, and with the body kit the exterior looks really nice .. but they would be SO MUCH MORE appealing to me with a CLS motor. Not to mention .. its FWD again

I just bought a TSX after my 03 CL-S got wrecked. If I could still have the CL-S, I would. I really, really miss the CL.
The TSX is great, and handling is quite nice but it doesn't feel anywhere the same as the CL. The interior materials quality is noticeably less and the car just doesn't feel as sure footed above 75MPH.
I would def. go with the ebony interiors with the Carbon Grey! Quartz doesn't look that great. The navi is better than the one in the CL. I don't use the voice recognition thing much though, but still, the navi is just nicer. Same as the new TL minus the bluetooth functions.

And... $100 more a month?! I'm paying over $120 less a month for the TSX than I was for the CL-S. My new ride, day after I bought it:

Will the upgrades that work on the RSX, turo Hondata etc., also work on the TSX? Are the engines different?

I wouldn’t do it.
If you want or need 4-Doors, go with the new TL.

You won’t be happy downgrading to a 4-Cylinder after getting used to the power of the CL-S.
Especially if it’s costing you MORE per month.

I really like the TSX but I think the CL-S is much more of a car. I looked at both about 4 months ago and I got the CL-S(6speed). I think the TSX looks a little better on the outside. It's style is a little more refined ... but other then that, the CL-S is better.

I think that I agree with everyone else. I LOVE the looks of the TSX, and if I needed to replace my wife's four-door with something, it would be a TSX. Now if we're talking about a car for me....I still love the TSX as an affordable, fun-to-drive, 4-door. BUT, I won't buy it for myself until it comes with AWD and a V6 under the hood. If it had that, I would be tempted to trade my CL-S.

But, with only a 4-cylinder, I won't do it, man. Sorry.

Well, after much contemplation, and a lot of wheeling and dealing with the dealer, I decided to keep the CL. The TSX is a nice car for what it is-but it just doesn't make sense for me to trade out of my CL into that just for the navi and manual tranny.
So, anyone know of a Black CL-S 6er for sale????

Smart move. ^

After driving the TSX as a loaner car for a day I came to the conclusion that while the TSX is a really nice car, the CL is still better.

Even the gauges alone weren’t enough to sway me.

I've only had my CL-S for just under 2 weeks, and I looked at a TSX. Really nice car, but damn am I glad I didn't get it . It would have cost me more and come with less power.
It's a really comfortable car, and I like the fact that they're built in Japan, but I think your making the right choice. That's my opinion.
