Need Some Help with Climate Display.. Check your Display Please..
I recently replaced my battery. I am phreaking out. I have a non navi cl. On the display where it has the tempeture is displayed, does the word AUTO stay on all the time? And when the hazzard button is pressed in is the hazzard button light suppose to blink on the button itself when pressed in?

Yes it says AUTO when the A/c is off... Is the word AUTO displayed for the A/C or is it for the fan set at AUTO? I guess basicly I'm asking does the word AUTO on the temp display go off or is it always supposed to be displayed.

The word auto should only be on if you actually hit the auto button and the fan switch is at 12:00 which is the fans auto mode. The minute you turn the switch out of that 12:00 postion the word "auto" should go away or if you press the a/c botton or mode button. You are now making manual adjustments so the car comes out of auto mode and goes into manual. Even though it doesn't say "manual". I hardly ever use my hazards so I'm not sure about your other problem.

So if the word AUTO is not to be shown at all times, What could be causing it to display at all times? The A/c nor the fan is on at auto. But when I want it to be auto ( the A/C or fan) it becomes auto.

Climate Display
Can someone go out and check their display to see if the word AUTO on the climate display on non-Navi CL is always supposed to show? Or does it go on / off depended upon your selection? I know the the word FULL goes on and off as selected. Please advise.

When I hit the off button my display just goes blank. It says nothing. But when I have something on, a/c or not, I am pretty sure it says auto no matter what I select.

Stop asking the exact same question fourty times in the same post. OK now for the info...
If the climate control is set to auto (hit the auto button) the display will say auto.
If you turn the fan to the 12:00 position (you should feel the knob click into place) the climate control will be set to full auto. The words full auto will be displayed. If you move the knob off of auto (turn the knob clockwise) the word auto will go away. At this point you will be manually adjusting the fan speed.
So the answer to your question is NO...the word auto should not always be on, if it is bring it to acura to find out why.
BTW- when you are in your car try something for me...Reach to your right and open the glove box. Once you have that open grab the owners manual and read it from cover to cover.
I am not trying to get on you, but it seems like a little common sense might work great in this case.

I checked this morning, and no matter what setting I had the a/c on (with the exception of turning it completely off), the word 'auto' appeared in the display. I don't think I tried the defrost setting, but I hit the a/c button and cycled the modes a few times, in addition to changing the fan and temp settings.
turning the fan knob to auto and hitting the auto button caused the words 'full auto' to be displayed. changing any setting from 'full auto' turned off the word 'full' but left the word 'auto' displayed.

duhhhhhhhhhh
I read the manual the it only said the word FULL would go off and on. It did not say the word auto going off. I have some people saying it does and some that say it doesn't. Can we get a master tech to answer this...
Art work reading what you wrote if its set at FULL AUTO, by moving the fan speed knob clock wise the word "FULL" should go out and the word AUTO should still be visible. You have it where AUTO goes out. I think something might be wrong with your display dude!
