Need pic of stock stereo!!!!

Alright, I know this belongs in the A/V Electronics forum, but there is little traffic in there and i need a response as soon as possible.

I am looking for a picture or diagram of the BACK of the stock (OEM) stereo in the CL-S. I need to order a part and I need to see what the back of the stereo looks like!! I picture or a website where i can find the info would help!

thanx in advance!

Does anybody else have the helms manual that could post the picture/diagram?

I was looking at this exact same thing yesterday (probably for the same reason aux input cough cough...)

anyway, I don't have my manual with me, but in picture it just shows a big plug, and a smaller plug, but it looks like there is a harness coming from the car that plugs into BOTH.

So I don't wonder if there isn't another plug that doesn't show up in the helms... the pictures of the stereo itself aren't very detailed at all.

If i get home before anyone posts one, i'll take a pic and post it up so you can see what I mean.

Second pic... stereo removal.

The plugs at point "A" supposedly plug into the back of the stereo.

We need someone who has actually taken it out to explain this to us!

something looks funny. When i was installing the fm-modulator, the antena plug was on the other side. i didn't actually have to remove the deck, i was able to squeeze my hand in there.
Are you sure that is the diagram of the 2001 Type-S?

has anybody actually taken out their deck and seen what the back looks like?

So yerffej,

Do you remember if there were plugs in all of the connections on the back of it when you took it out?

I can't tell you for sure since I didn't take it out. I didn't have the juevos to do it all myself. Plus it wasn't worth doing the install myself with what he charged me.
