Need Lights

Hey guys,

does anyone know of a good reputable online dealer that sells either 2500K or 3000K replacement bulbs (D2R/D2C/D2S) for our car?

Thanks a-bunch!

Look no further then our Acurazine vendors.

I bought mine (Kaixen) through Excelerate and he was helpful to answer any and all questions.

https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/kaixen-hid-replacement-d2c-bulbs-new-price-394988/

^ Here is a link to his HID group buy.

This is a quality bulb.

As for as I know there aren't HID bulbs with color temps that low. What would be the point?
Now you can get HID like(fake) halogen ones in that range.

oh come on fuzzy, what do you mean?! "whats the point?"

2500K-3000K is bright yellow (like fog lights) and since the CL has roadlamps, make the low-bemas into fogs to see through inclement weather, like snowstorms and bad rain.

Anything that low might as well be a halogen

(On a side note, where can I get a good replacement HID bulb for our cars? I was thinking EBAY but I don't know how good the quality is and is there a part number that I should search for?)

Here is a site that sells...(D2R/D2C/D2S) bulbs in 3000k

http://www.automotivelightstore.com/...ROD&ProdID=278

I didn't buy from that site but some other members did.

Try searching the site...I got 15 pages of results.

Here is another site...

http://www.xenonfactory.com/products/hid/rebased.htm

But like I said earlier...I would just contact Excelerate to see what he's got.

obviously you should do research before making comments.

Have you ever seen HID foglights bro? They are normally 3000K bulbs and they throw TONS of light out onto the road.

And with this weather in Chicago we've been having recently, don't you notice your stock 4300K bulbs not being able to cut throw the snow so far?

Now go online and do research into light temperature/usable light.

(Oh, and yeah go ask Excelerate about bulbs becuz he has $109 for a pair and you can get 5000K/White, 6500k/White-Purple or 8500K/Blue-White)

Yeah I saw some that I was going to point out but they had just been sold...

Where are you planning on installing these because they don't work in our stock road lamp housings.

Doing something custom?

^ Well within the next month or so I wanna do some custom projector retrofit with Infinit FX projectors

but right now, I'm going to put the 3000K bulbs into my low-beams because the weathers been terribly in the mid-west and its hard to see at night with 8000K bulbs

I see. Thought you wanted to swap your headlights for bulbs that low. That would make no sense.

I know what you're talking about color temperature and usable light. If people don't know what it is and how temperature affects usable light then they never took a science class.

I haven't had too much of a hard time seeing with the stock bulbs. But if its safety in mind then yea a lower temp would help. I also saw the 3000K bulbs in the BM. Did you pick them up?

And I didn't even know you were in chicagoland. We need to get together with a couple more people in the area.

Oh yea and thanks for the hint on Excelerate. So does my car (03 CL) use a D2S bulb?
